covid-19 protocol
The next time you visit Schermer Eye Associates for your eye care needs, you may notice some things are different.
We strive to deliver a full range of essential eye health and vision care, the health and safety of our patients, staff, and the members of our community is our top priority.
As part of our COVID-19 protocol, we’d like to highlight the structural and procedural changes that we’ve put in place for your health and safety:
Health Screening:
We ask that no person enter the office if in the past 14 day you have had any cold or flu like symptoms and/or any known exposure to COVID-19.
Masks Required:
Masks are required for all appointments regardless of vaccination status.
Please put your mask on before entering the office.
Additional Sanitization:
Our office has adopted stringent cleaning and sanitization measures as recommended by the CDC.
Scheduling Required:
Due to social distancing and sanitization requirements, a scheduled appointment
is required. No walk ins at this time.
Waiting Room:
We are practicing social distancing in our waiting room. We encourage you to arrive on time for your appointment and no earlier than 10 minutes.
Patient Guests:
We are limiting patient guests to one parent, caretaker, or guardian per appointment. The guest will go into the exam room with the patient. Any additional guests will be asked to wait outside of the office.
Contactless Payment:
We encourage the use of Tap Pay, Apple Pay, and other touchless payment systems that may apply.
We look forward to seeing you and serving your eye care needs.
